Privacy Policy
This policy was last updated on the date this site was published. Update this date whenever the policy changes.
CapeForge ("this site") is a free tool by Mint Dino for creating animated Minecraft Bedrock capes. This policy explains what data is collected, what stays on your device, and the choices available to you.
What's processed locally
Images, GIFs, and videos you upload to the Cape Creator are processed directly in your browser. They are not uploaded to a server as part of building or previewing your cape. Your in-progress project (frames, animation settings, and cape name) is saved in your browser's local storage so it can be restored if the page refreshes.
What we collect
This site does not require an account and does not ask for your name, email address, or other personal information to use the Cape Creator. Any data collection beyond basic, aggregated website analytics (see below) would only happen through services explicitly disclosed in this policy.
Analytics
ANALYTICS_PROVIDER: not currently configured. If an analytics provider is added in the future, this section will name the provider and describe what it collects.
Advertising
This site is supported by advertising served through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technology to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings. See the Cookie & Advertising Policy for more detail.
Cookies and local storage
This site uses your browser's local storage to save your in-progress cape project on your own device. See the Cookie & Advertising Policy for details.
Third-party services
Links to Mint Dino's YouTube and CurseForge pages are provided for convenience. Those platforms have their own privacy policies, which apply when you visit them.
Data retention
Locally stored project data remains on your device until you clear it (through the site's "Create Another Cape" option, your browser's site data settings, or clearing your browser storage). This site does not retain uploaded media on a server.
Your rights
Because cape creation happens locally in your browser, you can remove your project data at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site. For any other requests about your data, see the contact information below.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the site changes, for example if an analytics or advertising provider is added. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
